At MHS, we ensure our focus is understanding the needs of our customers and you’ll be instrumental in making this happen. Your role will entail building successful partnerships with new and existing MHS customers. This role gathers initial customer needs and collaborates with System Engineering Sales to provide the best solution to our customers. As a key collaborator, you work together with Marketing to target and efficiently explore (new) market areas

What are the job requirements?

  • Proactively identify customer needs with new and existing customers.
  • Identify, create and implement sales strategies focused on growing existing business, accessing new opportunities within existing accounts, and pursuing new accounts.
  • Analysing and register crucial data in our CRM system for the optimal progression of the quotation process.
  • Thinking at a conceptual level and discuss this in requisite technical detail with the customer.
  • Collaboratively working with the System Engineering department to enable a tailor-made quotation of the best solutions for the client.
  • Traveling to customer sites to engage with and understand their needs.
  • Managing the execution of strategic sales plan including prioritization of activities.

Job requirements

What do we expect from you?

  • Educated to HBO/WO (secondary or higher vocational) level (technical/business studies) supplemented with practical commercial training.
  • You have successful commercial experience in the logistics industry, preferably in the Express Parcel and/or Warehouse & Distribution environment.
  • You recognize that relationships matter and that the key to any partnership is to truly understand the customer’s perspective.
  • You are committed to business processes in the production and/or logistics sector and you are familiar with mechatronic logistics concepts.
  • Your knowledge of the English and German language is excellent.
  • You are interested and willing to work in the international arena.
